70Behold the new portable media player, MP5 player. So, what are the features this product has? Would it change your life if you have one? I don’t think so, but it does give new light to portable entertainment. It all started with mp3 players, and then mp4 players emerged. Both types of players have given us a cheaper alternative to portable entertainment. However, times have changed and mp5 players give more features than the two. While mp3 and mp4 players still exist in the market, mp5 players just seem to give us a better kind of entertainment. There is no format using mp5 media; no audio or video format for that, not even game formats. Even so, mp5 players are here and they come in different shapes, sizes, colors, and designs. And hopefully, they will stay in the market for a long time.
You may find that mp5 players are similar to Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) and Nintendo DS. Though the appearance and some of the features may be similar, the price bracket is a little different. It is a cheaper product with limited features; nevertheless, they can still give portable entertainment.

- Supports 320x240 video resolution. Some might support higher resolution than that.

Hi Cgull, thanks for adding iPhones and iPod Touch as other similar gadgets. I really don't know about the features they have. They probably already have all the features mp5 players have but they could be more expensive. MP5 players have expensive and cheap versions. Not sure about their differences, though.

Hi Raven King, PSP and Nintendo are more expensive. MP5 players have expensive as well as cheap versions. Hope you do find one within your budget.

Cute little gadget, I'm so glad Nintendo has a rival, can it play the games like Brain Age on it?
Hi Katyzzz, the games that can work with it are basically NES games; pac-man, wheel of fortune, tetris, super mario, and other classic games. I don't know Brain Age. If it's nintendo, it can probably work.
Like I've said, there are limitations to what this gadget can do. You can always check it out if you have access to the game. Good luck. :)

Hi Angel, if your mp5 just hanged, look for the reset hole (not button, if your version is same as mine). You'll need to reset it using a small needle. If the screen really isn't displaying anything, then you'll need to send it for repair. Do ask for assistance from the store owner. Hopefully, they'll be able to help. When we choose to mp5 player
to see the size of its capacity, like the MP5 1GB player, 2GB of MP5 Player, 4GB of MP5 player, 8GB of MP5 player, LCD size and style, style of the novel, convenient to use, Hyun a part of our energetic player.
i would like to buy this mp5. but at the same time i would alsa like to know if mp5s have internet/wi-fi cause it would be easier for me when i am travelling. furthermore, i have facebook so it would be easier for me to log in anytime...
Hi Preithvi, thanks for dropping by and I'm glad this hub gave you an interest 'bout mp5 players. Unfortunately, the features you want are not available in any mp5 players. This is kind of a cheap imitation of psp. Although it does have more expensive versions, I don't think wi-fi is being supported. It is more suitable to use for people who want portable games, portable music and videos, low to mid resolution camera. And probably, picture frames designs in your pictures if the unit you buy has one.

hey,i just bought one of these by accident,do you know if theres any way id be able to run nintendo ds games/psp games on it?? dont mind adding programmes and stuff to it,just a case of knowing what im doing and i havent a clue where to start! cheers mate!
Hi Kay, from where I am, the item you bought should already have a few games in it. If not, you can also look for games online. It's up to you if you want to buy games but I've seen a few free games online before, not sure where those links are now. But if you are looking, make sure that what you are going to acquire has a .nes extension.

They are not comparable. An ipod touch is very expensive. MP5 players are cheap. It's for people who can't afford iPod touch. What's better is what you can afford.

Awesome, only thing missing is a phone like iPhones. There is iPod Touch with similar things, not sure whether that can be categorized as MP5 player. iPod Touch with applications make them a good device also.
