Bras That Give Maximum Support

By

While a bra’s purpose is to give protection and coverage to the breasts, some only give modest protection. Most bras that are comfortable to wear can’t give maximum support because they are basically designed to give comfort. Bras that are designed to give maximum support may sometimes be not as comfortable as bras designed to give comfort. Listed here are a few bras that are designed to give full support to the woman’s breasts.

A full cup bra or full support bra offers full support for the woman’s breasts. It is a type of bra where the cups cover the breasts fully.

Racerback bras give full support to the breasts.  It firmly holds the breasts and body and is ideal to use as sports bra.  Keep in mind though, that not all racerback bras are designed as sports bras.  Nevertheless, they’d still give full support to the breasts.  Support not only comes from the straps that are non-adjustable, but also from the band around the body.

Sports bras are used by women who engage in rigorous workouts or athletic activities.  This type of bra minimizes the breast movement even during a strenuous exercise.  Depending on brands, sports bras may come in different range of support.  Some brands have mild support for lighter activities and strong support for rigorous workouts.  Other brands may only have one type of support.

Underwire bras literally have wires under the bra cups.  When not chosen with the right fitting, this type of bra can get painful.  If you have to choose an underwire bra, choose one that is slightly loose for your size.
